My Cars Page

Buick insignia

This is my cars page sorry for the lack of photos. I need a digital camera mine broke! I have actually a couple of cars now. And some cars of course that I would definitely kill to have! I like older cars do mostly to the fact There is actually no smog needed on pre-1974 vehicles in california. The Cali smog laws are horrible!!!and those cars are the ones with Real style And Real curves!!!!

I have two cars like i said earlier! And both of them are BUICKS! I know Buicks aren't the most popular cars amongst us twenty somethings!!!! But the racing history is deep I will later post the buick history on my page, just waiting to get permissions and what not! I own a 1979 Buick regal with a 3.8 V-6 naturally aspirated!!! Currently not doing too much I haven't been in the money enough to get the body work and the interior done so its just been sitting in my driveway!! Then there is my baby!!! A 1969 buick Special Custom wagon Green in color on the sheet metal and tan on the interior!! Its got a Buick 350, thats right its got the distirbutor in the front of the motor, and a th-400 Tranny.

This is similar to what my baby looks like minus the wheel stand and its one yr newer!!!!!

Its MY baby!!! I plan on selling the regal and getting a 74 or earlier G-body, soon I hope!!! I do love performance though and Buick back in the late 70's through mid 80's had a beautiful G-body Car first called the T-type and then available with an upgrade to GN(Grand National aka Black Beauties) These cars were Turbo 3.8s and 1984's and before were known as hot Air cars do to there lack of intercoolers 85-87 GN's were intercooled. They were the fastest cars around. They beat corvettes, mustangs, along with every other production car of its time! In 87 Buick discontinued the GN's so they decided to comemorate These cars, Thus the GNX was created the first production turbo car to have ceramic compressor wheel! And I bet you can now guess what my dream car is? Thats right a 1987 GNX!!!!!

I have a few plans for that 69 wagon I mentioned earlier! The 350 that is in there now I Plan on pulling it out to rebuild with a forged bottom end from Ta Perfomance! with 10.5:1 Compression slugs! a pair of 1974 Heads which will be fully ported and up the valve sizes a tenth of an inch. a pair of ta 1.6:1 ratio rocker assemblies and a Ta Performance Ta 212 Cam controlling the valve timing!! And for the intake would be a nice single plane Ta Intake good through 7,000rpm and to top it all off a Demon Carb running 700 CFM vaccuum Secondary carb with no choke!!!! and a fourlink in the back with a dana 60 rear end running a Detroit locker and 3.55 Gears!!!! Tub the rear to handle nice 15" fattys!!!!
